The ideal candidate brings strong system design instincts, experience working with data-intensive applications, and the ability to translate sophisticated financial and operational requirements into secure, scalable, and high-performance solutions.\nResponsibilities\nDesign, build, and maintain backend services, APIs, and core application logic supporting client-facing platforms.\nHelp improve scalability, reliability, security, and performance.\nCollaborate with frontend engineers, product managers, and client-facing teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.\nDevelop and maintain data pipelines and integrations with internal and external systems.\nWrite, maintain, and review automated unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and system stability.\nTroubleshoot production issues, optimize performance, and proactively identify technical risks.\nContribute to software design discussions, code reviews, and documentation across the Vantage Technology team.\nSupport end-to-end delivery of features from design through deployment and post-release monitoring.\nQualifications\n5+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer or Back-End Developer within the FinTech or technology space.\nProficiency in server-side programming languages and technologies - C#/.Net, ASP.Net Core, Entity Framework, SQL, Python is a plus.\nExperience with web frameworks and technologies - Angular, Javascript, Typescript.\nExperience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and working with relational and/or NoSQL databases.\nFamiliarity with cloud-based architectures, distributed systems, and modern deployment practices.\nExperience working in agile development environments\nSelf-starter with a strategic mindset and the ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team\nExperience supporting data-intensive, client-facing applications\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field\nPreferred: Understanding of financial products, particularly structured products\nWhat We Offer\nThe base salary range for this role is $145,000 - $180,000. Valitana offers a competitive compensation package which includes base salary and an annual performance bonus.
