This role requires on-site work, including daily visits to the workshop to monitor subcontract order status.\nJob Duties and Responsibilities\n Plan and Manage ProcurementPlan the demand and supply of procured materials according to the project schedule.\nCreate purchase orders in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy in project requirements such as liquidated damages (LDs), shipping modes, and manufacturing schedules.\nObtain supplier acknowledgments promptly to confirm pricing and delivery terms.\n\nExpedite DeliverablesExpedite or defer deliverables as needed to meet project requirements.\nPrepare forecast and inventory analysis reports, actively seeking opportunities for improvement.\nCoordinate and expedite all open purchase orders.Plan and implement all necessary actions, regularly perform shortage analysis to ensure material availability supports company and project objectives.\nStay informed of schedule priorities and any internal or external changes.\nNegotiate improved delivery schedules when needed.\nServe as the primary liaison between suppliers and internal teams for assigned open purchase orders.\nCommunicate supplier manufacturing schedules to the Quality department to facilitate inspection planning.\n\nLogistics SupportProvide required documentation to support logistics.\nComplete necessary SAP steps to facilitate shipments.\nFollow up with suppliers on preliminary packing lists and shipment readiness.\n\nRecord Maintenance and Process ImprovementMaintain accurate records of expediting and coordination activities.\nContinuously focus on improving expediting, scheduling, and shipping processes.\nNotify the supervisor about workload status and potential problem areas.\n\nSupply Chain Data ManagementAnalyze and maintain supply chain data.\nIdentify and correct data errors promptly.\nCreate and maintain purchasing records, providing clear and timely reports.\n\nQualifications\nAssociate degree or equivalent experience. Previous purchasing or buyer experience is Must have strong skills in data analysis using Microsoft Excel.
