This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in maintaining the quality and accuracy of our products. You'll operate and program Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs), develop measurement routines, and inspect components against engineering drawings and specifications. Working in close collaboration with Engineering and Production teams, you'll help drive quality improvements, support new product introductions, and ensure our products meet the high standards expected by our customers.\n What you'll do\nOperate and program CMM equipment to inspect parts and components against engineering drawings and specifications.\nCreate and maintain measurement routines for incoming, in-process, and final inspections.\nAnalyse measurement data and produce dimensional inspection reports.\nPerform routine maintenance and calibration of inspection equipment.\nCollaborate with Engineering and Production teams to resolve quality issues and support new product introductions.\nRaise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and identify deviations from specifications and standards.\nUse a range of inspection equipment, including gauges, PMI equipment, ferrite testing and other quality control tools.\nEnsure accurate inspection records are maintained and support continuous improvement initiatives.\nMaintain high housekeeping standards across inspection areas and promote a strong quality and safety culture.\nWhat you'll bring\nPrevious experience as a CMM Operator, CMM Technician, Inspector, or similar quality role within a manufacturing environment.\nExperience programming and operating CMM equipment; experience with Mitutoyo and/or Aberlink systems would be advantageous.\nStrong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T requirements.\nExperience using inspection equipment such as micrometers, verniers, thread gauges, shadow graphs, and hardness testing equipment.\nStrong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.\nGood IT skills, including Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems.\nKnowledge of ISO 9001 and quality management systems would be beneficial.\nWhat we offer\nJoining LB Bentley, part of Valmet, means becoming part of a global team that values expertise, collaboration, and continuous development.
