In this role, you will participate in R&D projects, manage embedded equipment lifecycle tasks, and contribute to software development. You will work in an international development environment and bring strong technical expertise to the team.\nYour responsibilities\nParticipate in research and development projects and collaborate with the R&D team\nSelect server and system components and manage software updates and installation packages\nContribute to software maintenance and development using modern technologies\nPrepare technical documentation, calculations, and specifications for prototype manufacturing\nAnalyze test results and review findings together with the R&D team while following technological developments\nFollow technological developments and contribute to patenting and competitor monitoring\nExpectations for you\nCore technical competencies\nA bachelor’s or master’s degree in relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Automation, Electronics, Software Engineering)\nStrong proficiency in C#\nExperience with Entity Framework Core\nSolid understanding of SQL databases, including design, optimization, and query development\nGood Finnish and English skills\nAdditional skills and knowledge (seen as an advantage)\nKnowledge of paper technology or experience with paper manufacturing processes\nUnderstanding of virtualized server environments (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V, container technologies)\nKnowledge of PC and server hardware, including components, performance, and lifecycle management\nUnderstanding of embedded systems and hardware lifecycle management\nExperience working in an R&D environment\nPrevious experience in similar roles is beneficial, but strong education and technical skills are more important.\nTo succeed in this role\nTo succeed, you bring strong expertise in software development with C# and database technologies, combined with a structured and analytical mindset.
