If you enjoy combining technical depth with project impact, this role offers the challenge and responsibility to help drive successful project execution.\nYour responsibilities\nExecute engineering activities for steel structures, including steel layout, structural design, detailed engineering, and associated calculations. \nCarry out structural design and STAAD modeling for boilers, evaporators, pipe racks, and auxiliary structures. \nApply Indian and international design codes and standards in engineering deliverables.\nDevelop and interpret engineering calculations, drawings, and technical specifications to support project execution.\nExecute detailed engineering for structural systems and ensure design accuracy.\nCollaborate with multidisciplinary engineering and production teams to meet project requirements and delivery targets. \nEnsure project outputs are delivered on schedule and meet quality expectations. \nIdentify project risks, implement quality processes, and support successful project completion. \nGuide, coach, and develop reporting engineers and designers within your area of responsibility. \nParticipate in technical meetings and follow organizational procedures and engineering practices throughout project execution. \nExpectations from you\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering. \n6-15 years of experience in structural engineering or a related field. \nStrong knowledge of Indian and international design codes and standards. \nSound understanding of steel structural design principles and connection design.\nHands-on experience with STAAD for structural analysis and design. \nExperience in Tekla and AutoCAD is considered an additional advantage.\nAbility to work independently while coordinating effectively with cross-functional engineering teams.\nExperience supporting project delivery with a focus on quality, productivity, and continuous improvement. \nGood written and verbal communication skills in English. \nTo succeed in this role\nSuccess in this role comes from combining strong steel structural design expertise with the ability to execute engineering work independently and accurately. You will need proven experience in STAAD modeling, structural calculations, and applying Indian and international design codes to complex industrial structures.
