This role will drive strategic growth, manage key customer relationships, develop EPC and OEM business, and strengthen market presence through effective sales leadership, product promotion, and market intelligence.\nKey Responsibilities:\nLead and expand the VCA business footprint across the India market.\n\nOwn end-to-end sales funnel management, including key account management and business development activities within the assigned market area.\n\nDrive technical and commercial approvals with EPCs and proactively engage with End Users (EUs) for large and strategic projects involving VCA products.\n\nDevelop, execute, and monitor action plans aligned with strategic priorities and sales objectives.\n\nProvide accurate sales forecasts and establish performance targets to support business planning.\n\nStrengthen engagement with key OEMs while expanding the OEM base by onboarding new partners.\n\nMaintain a strong customer-centric approach by understanding customer needs and building long-term relationships.\n\nAnalyze competitive activities in the region and define strategies to increase market share.\n\nDeliver product presentations and demonstrations; actively participate in customer events, trade shows, and exhibitions to promote the product and service portfolio.\n\nLead the launch of new VCA products in India and track their market adoption and performance.\n\nQualifications & Experience:\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Instrumentation).\n\n20-25 years of proven sales experience in positioners, actuators, or similar automation products; experience in the automation industry is strongly preferred.\n\nDemonstrated experience in developing and managing OEM business.\n\nStrong market and customer exposure within the Oil & Gas sector.\n\nMandatory experience working with large EPCs and OEMs in the Oil & Gas industry, including thorough knowledge of relevant technical specifications.\n\nProven capability in handling major accounts and corporate customers, with solid account management expertise.\n\nProficient in Microsoft Office tools, Business Intelligence (BI) reporting, and experienced in using CRM systems.\n\nWillingness to travel extensively across India, with the ability to spend up to 50% of time traveling to support business and customer needs.\n\nWhen everything works together\nValmet is where the best talent from a wide variety of backgrounds comes together.
