As an HSE professional, you collaborate across the organization, provide expert guidance, and take ownership of driving world-class HSE performance that supports business success and customer satisfaction.\nKey responsibilities:\nDrive the implementation and continuous improvement of Valmet and Automation Solutions HSE processes and practices.\n\nSupport and participate in global and Business Area HSE development initiatives.\n\nPartner with managers to identify risks, conduct risk assessments, and ensure effective mitigation measures are implemented.\n\nProvide expert guidance safety improvements.\n\nMonitor compliance with Valmet HSE requirements and applicable legal and regulatory obligations.\n\nEnsure HSE incidents are reported, investigated, communicated, and followed up with appropriate corrective and preventive actions.\n\nSupport the management and continuous improvement of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certifications, including audit coordination, management system development, and sharing of best practices.\n\nPromote a proactive HSE culture through engagement, communication, coaching, and visible leadership.\n\nAnalyze HSE performance trends, identify improvement opportunities, and prepare regular reports for management.\n\nTo succeed in this role, you will need:\nB.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.\n\nMinimum 5 years of HSE experience and authority to at least a senior occupational safety and health specialist (granted by the Polish law).\n\nKnowledge of recognized HSE standards and management systems such as ISO 45001 and ISO 14001; NEBOSH or equivalent certification and ISO lead auditor certification is considered an advantage.\n\nStrong knowledge of HSE legislation and electrical safety practices in global environment.\n\nProficiency English. Other languages are an asset.\n\nAbility to learn and willingness to develop yourself professionally.\n\nSystematic and result oriented way of working.\n\nDriving license B.\n\nAbility and willingness to travel within the EMEA region (up to 20-30%).\n\nWe are looking for a self-motivated, engaged, innovative, passionate individual who is comfortable working with diverse cross functional teams.
