You’ll work across hardware, firmware, software, and product teams to align the platform with both immediate needs and long-term vision.\nIn this role you will:\nProvide technical leadership and architectural oversight for embedded Linux software across multiple product lines\n\nDrive the platform strategy across Yocto builds, kernel configuration, driver architecture, and real-time system behavior\n\nLead development, debugging, and optimization of Linux kernel modules, device drivers, and application software\n\nArchitect and guide the implementation of real-time, performance-critical applications in C/C++\n\nDrive resolution of complex issues spanning hardware, kernel, bootloaders, and user-space components\n\nEnsure long-term platform maintainability, security posture, and scalability\n\nMentor embedded engineers and raise the technical bar across the organization\n\nCollaborate with hardware, test, manufacturing, and product management to ensure system success\n\nOversee BSP integration and validation of embedded platform components\n\nContribute to architecture documentation, design guidelines, and engineering standards\n\nRepresent embedded engineering in design reviews, technical governance, and roadmap planning\n\nAn ideal candidate in this role:\nBrings 7+ years of experience in embedded Linux development\n\nHolds a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent\n\nHas strong expertise with Yocto and custom Linux distribution development\n\nIs familiar with debugging and profiling tools such as Valgrind, perf, oprofile, or similar\n\nHas mastery of Linux kernel internals, device drivers, and low-level system debugging\n\nIs highly proficient in C/C++ for embedded and real-time applications\n\nUnderstands low-latency and deterministic system design (e.g., PREEMPT_RT).\n\nHas a proven track record of technical leadership\n\nIs comfortable working at the intersection of hardware and software\n\nDemonstrates strong systems thinking, structured problem-solving, and lifecycle awareness\n\nExperience in industrial automation or mission-critical environments is a plus\n\nWe offer\nWe offer a challenging work environment that values innovation and suits development-minded people who enjoy working in a fast-paced and dynamic setting.
