The Advanced Process Control Engineer’s role also includes building relationships with our customers and maintaining a high standard of customer satisfaction.\nIn this position you will have the following responsibilities:\nAct as a main technical interface for the customer and coordinate with the project team and engineering partners\nOversee all phases of the project, including Application, Definition and Engineering, Staging and Testing, Installation, and System Commissioning\nGenerate reports for project development, system performance, acceptance and post-project feedback.\nMentor and train other employees; assist Sales Managers and Project Managers as needed.\nProvide feedback and input for continual improvement of our product line and processes\nValmet’s Advanced Process Control Group provides high level expert services to optimize our customer’s performance in terms of production, quality, cost and environmental impact.\nTo succeed in this role, you will need:\nA bachelor’s or master’s degree in an Engineering field, or an equivalent professional experience and competencies.\n A strong knowledge of the Fiber Line or Causticizing Process Areas and experience with advanced and regulatory controls & optimization.\nBe able to show leadership skills, have strong troubleshooting abilities and/or have experience with process improvement.\nWe will be looking for someone who can show a high level of initiative, who can prioritize and multitask well, and who can build relationships with customers, co-workers, and international partners. \nMinimum of 5 years’ experience in the field. \nFluency in English is required. Fluency in French and/or Spanish is a plus.\nCandidate must be willing and able to travel as needed, up to 50% of their time.
