If you enjoy combining technical understanding with commercial decision-making, this is an opportunity to make a visible impact every day.\nYour responsibilities\nManage daily purchasing activities with local and overseas suppliers to ensure material availability, quality, cost, and delivery performance.\nPartner with project, production, engineering, and operational teams to understand procurement requirements and sourcing needs.\nLead supplier sourcing, evaluation, selection, negotiation, and performance reviews to support business objectives.\nDevelop and maintain strong supplier relationships while monitoring supplier quality, delivery schedules, and overall performance.\nExecute purchasing activities in line with specifications, plans, and procurement procedures.\nSupport Global Sourcing initiatives and drive supplier localization opportunities to reduce dependency on imported components.\nEvaluate technical drawings, specifications, and manufacturing requirements when sourcing components and materials.\nCoordinate logistics and transportation solutions to ensure timely material deliveries.\nMaintain accurate supplier, item, sourcing, and purchasing data in ERP systems and procurement records.\nMonitor procurement costs, analyze lead times, prepare KPI reporting, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance sourcing efficiency.\nExpectations from you\nBachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing, or a related field.\nMinimum 3 years of experience in Procurement, Purchasing, Sourcing, or Supply Chain within a manufacturing environment.\nAbility to read and interpret technical and manufacturing drawings.\nGood understanding of manufacturing processes including machining, casting, forging, welding, and fabrication.\nExperience in supplier sourcing, technical evaluation, supplier development, and supplier management.\nFamiliarity with RFQ/RFP processes, cost analysis, contract negotiation, and procurement practices.\nExperience supporting localization projects is highly preferred.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems such as SAP, LN, Compass, Oracle, or similar platforms.\nStrong negotiation, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.\nYou have good written and spoken proficiency in English and Bahasa Indonesia. \nTo succeed in this role\nSuccess in this position comes from your ability to combine procurement expertise with technical understanding and strong supplier management capabilities. You will need to confidently evaluate technical requirements, identify capable suppliers, negotiate commercially sound agreements, and collaborate effectively across Engineering, Quality, Operations, and Procurement teams.
