The role involves managing manpower, machines, materials, safety, and operational efficiency while ensuring compliance with quality and HSE standards.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead and manage day-to-day production operations to achieve production plans and KPIs.\nMonitor production processes and equipment performance to minimize downtime.\nCoordinate production, processing, and distribution activities on the shop floor.\nPlan shift schedules and allocate manpower effectively.\nSupervise fabric filter cloth manufacturing operations, including laser cutting, programming, and sewing activities.\nEnsure proper handling, storage, and identification of WIP materials.\nMaintain availability of utilities such as air, power, and water for uninterrupted production.\nSupport packaging and shipping activities whenever required.\nReview drawings and fabric cut-piece profiles before production.\nGuide sewing operators on machine setup and process parameters.\nConduct in-process quality inspections and fitment checks.\nDrive productivity improvements and minimize defects, rework, and rejections.\nTrain and mentor permanent and contract employees.\nPrepare daily, shift-wise, and monthly production reports and MIS.\nPerform SAP/ERP production order confirmations and routing entries.\nCoordinate inventory management activities with Stores.\nMaintain housekeeping standards and 5S practices across the shop floor.\nEnsure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.\nSupport internal and external audits through documentation and process compliance.\nDrive Lean, Kaizen, cost-saving, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nRequired Skills & Knowledge\n6 to 8 years of experience in a manufacturing environment as a Production Engineer/Coordinator\nBachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Textile Engineering.\nProduction planning and shop floor management.\nIndustrial sewing machine operations and process knowledge.\nDrawing reading and basic GD&T interpretation.\nQuality inspection and process control.\nSAP PP module knowledge.\nERP transaction and production reporting experience.\nUnderstanding of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement principles.\nKnowledge of HSE and Quality Management Systems.\nInventory and WIP management.\nMS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.\nERP/SAP systems.\nPreferred Experience & Knowledge\nExperience in filter fabric, technical textile, or related manufacturing industries.\nExposure to production equipment management and process optimization.\nExperience leading production teams and driving operational excellence.\nISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.\nWaste management practices.\nTechnical textiles or filter fabric manufacturing processes.\nKey Performance Indicators (KPIs):\nHealth, Safety & Environment (HSE)\nOn-Time Delivery (OTD)\nProductivity & Cost Competitiveness\nInventory Management\nQuality Performance & COPQ\nOverall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)\nWaste Reduction\nLean Manufacturing Implementation\n5S Compliance\nContinuous Improvement Initiatives\nTeam Development & People Management\nWe offer:\nA rewarding position in a global industry leader in pulp, paper and energy industries with the possibilities to grow professionally.
