This is an opportunity to make a visible impact through strong people leadership, problem-solving, and process improvement initiatives.\nYour responsibilities\nLead and monitor daily production line operations, ensuring compliance with plant policies, procedures, and production targets.\nSupervise a production team of more than 15 employees, including work allocation, shift planning, rotations, overtime coordination, and absence coverage.\nDrive productivity improvements through Kaizen activities, multiskilling initiatives, and continuous improvement projects.\nMonitor production performance, prepare MIS reports, track costs, and identify opportunities for cost savings.\nRecord and report daily production activities in ERP/M3 and maintain accurate production documentation.\nPartner with Planning, Quality, and other cross-functional teams to resolve day-to-day operational challenges.\nEnsure products meet quality requirements, investigate quality concerns, prepare quality reports, and lead root cause analysis activities.\nMaintain a safe, clean, and disciplined shop floor by implementing Health & Safety standards, HIRA activities, risk observations, and work permit processes.\nSupport implementation of operational excellence initiatives, including 5S, Kanban (2-bin system), and assembly shop Kaizens.\nDevelop team capability through training plans, skills development activities, and participation in new product development and shop improvement projects. \nExpectations from you\nYou have 4-5 years of relevant production or manufacturing experience.\nYou have experience supervising production operations and leading shop floor teams.\nYou have experience with production reporting, MIS preparation, and ERP/M3 transactions.\nYou have knowledge of productivity improvement methodologies such as Kaizen, 5S, and Kanban.\nYou have experience managing quality issues, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions.\nYou have strong understanding of workplace safety practices, HIRA activities, risk observation processes, and work permit systems.\nYou have experience coordinating with cross-functional teams such as Planning and Quality.\nYou have experience training and developing workmen to enhance skills and performance.\nYou can effectively manage machinery breakdowns, production challenges, and operational issues.\nYou have experience working in a unionized environment.\nTo succeed in this role\nSuccess in this role requires hands-on production leadership, the ability to drive productivity and continuous improvement, and strong experience in managing quality, safety, and people performance on the shop floor.
