Apply your expertise as our new Lead Process Engineer supporting Power Boilers.\nIn this role, you will serve as a technical expert for fluidized bed boiler and gasification as well as auxiliary systems and process engineering. Balance of Plant are more often included in our deliveries and therefore valuable knowledge.\nIn the sales phase, you will collaborate with the team to define technical concepts, assess the capacities of the main equipment, design process systems, and prepare comprehensive technical proposal documentation.\nDuring project delivery, you will continue the process engineering activities by closely coordinating with customers, sub-suppliers, and other disciplines.\nYour main tasks and focus areas are:\nPerforming calculations\nPreparing technical specifications for equipment inquiries\nConducting design work\nLeading hazard and risk analyses\nProviding theoretical training to the customer’s operators\nProviding support to the commissioning team during site activities\nManaging communication and documentation\n25% site work or travel\nRequirements:\nBachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or related engineering discipline.\nMinimum of 5 years experience in a similar manufacturing business or supplier.\nThis position is located in Charlotte, NC. Please be living in that region or open to relocating there.\nMust be legally authorized to work in the United States.
