We are looking for a Senior Project Engineer, QCS based in Indonesia. In this role, you will take technical responsibility for delivering Quality Control Systems in both office and paper mill environments. You will lead critical project phases from system definition and testing through commissioning and performance validation. Working closely with customers, project teams, and site personnel, you will help ensure successful project execution while supporting operational excellence in the pulp and paper industry.\nYour responsibilities\nLead the planning of QCS projects with the Project Manager, including scheduling, risk analysis, contingency planning, and installation readiness.\nParticipate in project definition activities, including kick-off meetings, responsibility allocation, system definition, customer communication, and milestone management.\nTake ownership of system initialization and configuration activities involving both internal and external resources.\nOrganize and lead internal testing activities and customer Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT).\nLead on-site execution activities and ensure compliance with site safety requirements.\nCoordinate work schedules for site personnel and maintain regular communication with customers regarding project progress and schedules.\nManage change requests together with the Project Manager to support successful project delivery.\nEnsure successful commissioning of sensors, measurements, and delivered quality control applications while meeting customer expectations and performance guarantees.\nDeliver customer training, manage punch-list completion, and support a smooth transition of systems to service.\nFinalize system documentation, prepare commissioning reports including delivered value and ROI, and collect customer feedback for continuous improvement.\nExpectations from you\nDegree in Instrumentation, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering from a reputed university.\n2-5 years of relevant engineering experience with increasing responsibility in project delivery.\nStrong experience in pulp and paper processes, plant operations, and maintenance.\nExpertise in quality management and measurement systems used in paper and board manufacturing.\nKnowledge of modern plant control systems and control tuning techniques.\nExperience with installation, commissioning, and Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) activities.\nHands-on experience handling cross-directional and machine-directional control techniques in paper and board machines.\nExperience working with radioactive source handling in industrial environments.\nProven project engineering or project execution experience, including logic development.\nDiploma in Paper Technology or experience from a reputed paper mill is considered an advantage.\nTo succeed in this role\nSuccess in this role requires deep technical knowledge of Quality Control Systems, pulp and paper manufacturing processes, and industrial automation technologies. You will need hands-on experience leading project execution activities, managing commissioning and testing programs, and collaborating effectively with customers and multidisciplinary teams.
