Instead, your focus will be on creating the future: developing solutions, shaping the offering roadmap, identifying new business opportunities, and enabling sales teams to succeed in a rapidly evolving market.\nWhat you'll do\nOwn and develop the overall automation, quality control and process optimization solution and offering portfolio for paper and board converting applications\nDefine and drive the technology and offering roadmap based on customer needs, market developments, and business opportunities\nCoordinate development activities and collaborate closely with R&D and product organizations\nSupport sales teams with process expertise and solution positioning throughout the sales cycle\nMonitor market trends, customer requirements, and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities and future development needs\nDevelop new business opportunities and scalable concepts that create customer value and support long-term growth\nWhat we're looking for\nIdeal candidate has a background in production, process engineering, technical customer support, or another customer-facing technical role within the corrugated board, extrusion coating, self-adhesive laminating, specialty paper, or broader roll-to-roll converting industry.\nIdeally, you bring:\nExperience in the corrugated board, extrusion coating, self-adhesive laminating, specialty paper, or broader roll-to-roll converting industry.\nStrong understanding of production processes, quality requirements, and industrial operations\nExperience working closely with customers and translating operational needs into practical solutions\nAbility to combine technical understanding with business and market awareness\nInterest in business development, offering management, and growth initiatives\nStrong communication and stakeholder management skills in an international environment\nAbility to travel approximately 30-50 days annually\nWhy this role?\nThis is a unique opportunity to take a leading role in defining future solutions for an industry undergoing continuous transformation.\nRather than maintaining an existing portfolio, you will have the opportunity to build, develop, and scale new business opportunities.
