You will represent the global function confidently, collaborate across cultures, and contribute to initiatives that shape the future of our mobility processes.\nYou will report to Senior Manager, Global Mobility and work closely with colleagues in Global Mobility team, Business Area HR Business Partners and global HR functions.\nYou can be located in one of Valmet’s main locations in Finland, preferably Tampere or Tikkurila, Vantaa. This position is fixed-term until the end of April 2028.\nYour Responsibilities\nManage end-to-end global mobility processes for international assignments, including assignment agreement management, immigration compliance, and individual income tax compliance, and stakeholder management.\nEnsure compliance with the company guidelines and regulations related to individual income tax, social security, and immigration.\nAct as a liaison between HR, Payroll, Finance, and external providers, ensuring accurate and timely execution of mobility processes.\nServe as a Global Mobility Business Partner, collaborating with business units to forecast mobility needs and support implementation.\nMonitor regional compliance changes and implement improvements in global mobility instructions.\nUse AI tools and data analytics to enhance reporting, identify trends, and optimize processes.\nShare insights and best practices to drive continuous improvement in global mobility operations.\nWhat We’re Looking For\nA proven experience in short term assignment global mobility, with expertise in Finnish outbound assignments and related tax processes.\nAbility to manage projects independently and represent a global function with confidence.\nKnowledge of personal income tax, social security, immigration regulations, and compliance risk management.\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills across cultures.\nData-driven mindset with ability to leverage AI tools and analytics for reporting and process optimization.\nExperience working in global organizations and collaborating across diverse cultures.\nFamiliarity with HRIS systems and mobility platforms.\nCustomer-oriented and proactive mindset combined with analytical thinking.\nYou have bachelor’s or master’s degree in Personnel Administration, Economics, Commerce, Business Administration, or International Business or equivalent.\nTo succeed in this role\nWe also expect you to align with Valmet’s Leadership Principles-practical behaviours that guide how we lead, collaborate, and succeed together:\nTake accountability - Act with ownership, set clear expectations, and follow through\nLead with courage - Champion change, try bold ideas, and learn quickly\nBuild on trust - Listen to understand, be open, and create psychological safety\nCollaborate for growth - Work across boundaries, value diverse perspectives, and focus on customer value\nApply now\nIf you are a highly motivated global mobility expert and have a track record of gaining results by working seamlessly with your team, please apply immediately, latest on November 15th, 2026 via the link enclosed.
