In this role, you'll provide hands-on technical support to customers across North America, helping maintain and optimize large-scale papermaking equipment. You'll work with mechanical equipment, such as doctor assemblies, roll rebuilds, and other, and cutting-edge technology while supporting critical customer operations. Hydraulic work is a possibility if the representative has applicable knowledge.\nThis position offers a dynamic mix of on-site field service and remote troubleshooting. You'll travel to customer locations to perform inspections, diagnose issues, support repairs, assist with machine start-ups, and help improve equipment performance and reliability.\nWhat You'll Do\nTroubleshoot and service hydraulic systems and industrial equipment\nProvide on-site and remote technical support to customers\nSupport equipment installations, commissioning, and machine start-ups\nPerform inspections and recommend solutions to improve performance and reliability\nCollaborate with customers and internal technical teams to resolve complex issues\nPrepare service reports and communicate recommendations\nWhat You'll Need:\nMechanical troubleshooting experience in an industrial environment\nStrong communication, organizational, and computer skills\nSelf-motivated with a willingness to learn and travel approximately 65-75% of the time\nWE OFFER\nAt Valmet, we offer you a challenging leadership position and a great opportunity to influence the success of the Services business.
