Apply now.\nAvailable Shifts:\n1st shift - Monday to Thursday from 5:00 AM to 4:30 PM\n2nd shift- Monday to Thursday from 5:00 PM to 4:30 AM\n4th shift - Friday thru Sunday from 5:00 AM to 4:30 PM\nAvailable Locations:\nClaremore\nTulsa\nStarting Pay: $ 26.24/hr with a $2/hr night shift differential. Pay increase at 90-day and 6-month anniversary.\nBASIC FUNCTION:\nThe incumbent will operate a brake to bend trapezoids into pole shafts. This person will align and measure materials prior to bending with the press brake.\nJOB RESPONSIBILITIES:\nBends pole trapezoids and or parts by using the magnetic crane to move the material and Brake press to complete the projects.\nResponsible for entering the necessary data into the Press Brake computer.\nResponsible to complete required reports and record the appropriate date with accuracy.\nA thorough knowledge of Press Brake procedures & practices are essential to ensure the quality of the product. This will include the ability to calculate formulas using basic math, standard U.S. and Metric Measurements.\nWorks under conditions with accurate performance and completion of work within set time limits.\nAccountable and responsible for essential tools and equipment provided along w/ the maintenance of these tools and equipment.\nActively participate in department safety, demonstrate excellent safety practices and behaviors which conform to all Valmont safety policies and procedures.\nSKILLS /QUALIFICATIONS:\nHigh School Graduate or equivalent.\nAt least 2 years' experience in a heavy manufacturing environment is desired or graduation from an accredited trade school.\nAble to program and re-set the Press Brake, trouble shoot operating malfunctions and be well versed in operator’s maintenance of the equipment.\nAble to read and decipher blueprints and flat sheets without assistance and use them to properly lay out and bend required product.\nKnowledge of quality requirements and standards.\nAbility to prioritize work in order to complete deadlines.
