Valmont is currently seeking a highly motivated and talented individual for the Shift Supervisor position in the Global Coating Division. We are looking for a highly driven individual that will supervise, train, motivate, and mentor approximately 10-20 production employees within the Galvanizing facility. Responsible for the direct supervision of Floor Supervisors, box persons, and dealers. Follows all department procedures, safety regulations, and shop floor policies and procedures. Responsible for the operation of the production floor during the shift, including assigning stations, duties for all staff and ensuring that policies and procedures are followed. Additionally, you will implement and assign work schedule to maximize utilization of manpower, machines, and equipment. Defines expected production standards and monitors performance standards of assigned personnel. Observe assigned personnel to ensure the proper operation of assigned equipment. Ensure inspection checks and quality assurance are occurring to produce high quality products.\nPromote a continuous productivity improvement climate that encourages suggestions for operational improvement. Administer and support company policies and procedures in a fair and consistent manner.
