Apply now.\nAvailable Shift: 1st shift (6:30am to 3:00pm)\nCompensation: Starting Wages $20.50/hour\nA Brief Summary of This Position\nValmont is currently seeking a highly motivated and talented individual for the Shipping-Receiving Clerk position in the Global Coatings Division. We are looking for a highly driven individual that will track inventory of incoming and outgoing product as well as inspect for damage and defect to ensure a high quality finished product.\nEssential Functions:\nIdentify materials being loaded and unloaded to ensure proper storage\nEnsure all material is properly labeled and accounted for\nRead Customer Orders, Work Orders, Shipping Orders, or Requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed/shipped\nAdvise warehouse crew of load amounts, and provide instructions for incorrect amounts\nDouble check quality and piece counts on loads prior to shipment\nOperate Forklift in a safe and secure manner\nWear required Personal Protective Equipment and follow facility safety regulations\nPerform other clerical tasks such as typing correspondence, and maintaining filing system.\nOrganize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times and perform general housekeeping of area\nRequired Qualifications of Every Candidate:\nHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent\nThe ability to pay attention to detail and follow written and verbal work instructions\nThe ability to accurately read a tape measure\nThe ability to lift up to 50 pounds\nThe ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide\nWorking knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Outlook\nMust be a person of passion and integrity who has the drive to excel and deliver exceptional results\nHighly qualified candidates will also possess:\nOne year of previous experience working in a manufacturing environment\nOne year of previous experience working in a warehouse\nOne year of previous experience operating a Forklift in a professional environment\nThe ability to work in a high volume, fast paced environment\nBenefits\nValmont offers employees and their families a comprehensive Total Wellbeing benefit package to ensure their individual and family’s overall wellness needs are met.
