Working closely with global and local P&O teams, Finance, ESG and other stakeholders, the specialist provides insights into workforce trends and supports reporting, planning and compliance requirements.\nResponsibilities:\nHR Reporting & Analytics: Prepare, maintain and continuously improve recurring HR reports, dashboards and analyses, ensuring accuracy, consistency and timely delivery of key HR metrics and KPIs.\nData Management & Quality: Extract, consolidate, validate and reconcile HR data from multiple sources, identify discrepancies and implement measures to improve data quality, completeness and consistency.\nWorkforce Planning: Support headcount and FTE reporting, workforce planning, budgeting and forecasting processes in collaboration with P&O and Finance, including the analysis of workforce movements and personnel costs.\nProcess Automation & Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline and automate recurring reporting activities using tools such as Excel, Power Query, Power BI and other relevant technologies, reducing manual effort and improving efficiency.\nHR Systems & Data Governance: Support the effective use of HR systems and reporting tools, maintain reporting definitions and documentation, and contribute to data governance, standardized processes and consistent KPI methodologies.\nRequirements\nBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Statistics or a related field\n1-2 years of relevant experience in HR analytics, HR reporting, HR Controlling, business intelligence or a comparable data-focused role\nExperience working with HR data and HR information systems, ideally in an international or multinational environment\nIntermediate-to-Advanced Excel Skills, practical experience with Power BI, including dashboard development, data modelling and DAX\nAbility to work with data from multiple sources, perform reconciliations and investigate data inconsistencies\nFamiliarity with HR information systems and their underlying data structures\nKnowledge of PowerQuery, SQL, Python or other data-processing and automation tools is an advantage\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of attention to detail and data accuracy\nAbility to understand HR processes and translate business questions into meaningful metrics, reports and insights\nHigh degree of discretion and integrity when handling confidential employee data\nFluent English, both written and spoken; knowledge of German will be considered an advantage\nBenefits\nWorking with Valneva means being part of a global biotech company with a clear vision to make a meaningful impact in the world.
