In this role, you will be responsible for the planning, coordination and execution of lab coordination activities supporting the GMP laboratory. Additionally to your own operational tasks you will lead and develop a small lab coordination team (3 people) with the support of the Head of Quality Control. You will work closely with internal departments, clients, and external testing laboratories.\nResponsibilities\nCoordination of day-to-day Lab activities, working hands-on alongside the team\nPerson in charge/support for operational readiness and GMP compliance of laboratory equipment, computerized systems and laboratory infrastructure\nPerson in charge/support for qualification, validation, maintenance and lifecycle activities for analytical and storage equipment and relevant QC systems\nValidation Officer for equipment and computerized systems and management of related quality events and documentation\nPerson in charge/support for qualification, availability and inventory management of key reagents, reference substances, controls, chemicals and laboratory consumables\nCoordination of daily activities and priorities of the Lab Coordination team (3 employees)\nCollaboration on operational and technical CAPEX planning\nRequirements\nAcademic degree in Life Science or another relevant scientific field, with at least 5 years of experience in the life science or pharmaceutical industry in a GxP-regulated environment (ideally involving vaccines)\nExperience with QC Lab operations in GxP regulated life science or pharmaceutical industry subject to FDA and other global regulatory authority inspections is preferred\nExperience with Equipment / Analytical Instruments Qualifications is preferred\nGood knowledge of relevant GxP legislation for EU, US and other global highly-regulated markets\nGood organizational, documentation management and teamwork skills\nOpen-minded and innovative / creative team-player\nFluent in English, fluent in German is preferred\nBenefits\nWorking with Valneva means being part of a global biotech company with a clear vision to make a meaningful impact in the world.
