Our tech stack is built on Python, React, Docker, Kubernetes, and Google Cloud Platform.\nOur office locations are based in New York City and in San Francisco.\nResponsibilities\nResponsible for learning new concepts and technologies quickly and apply them to challenging problems.\n\nDesigning and building robust and extensible infrastructure to handle evolving and complex federal, state, and agency regulations.\n\nDive deep to understand the inner workings of a highly complex industry.\n\nWork with Product and Design to define the best experience for our customers.\n\nIdeal Background\nCurrently in pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.\n\nExceptional programming and design skills.\n\nAbility to build quality software applications at scale, including ability to work cross-functionally to balance product and technical requirements, building scalable systems from scratch with a fast turnaround.\n\nCommunicate effectively in a collaborative, complex, and highly technical team environment.\n\nExperience with one of the following: web application development, mobile application development, building large-scale distributed systems, or infrastructure management.\n\nDeep curiosity and willingness to ask a lot of questions in order to learn quickly.\n\nMust have legal authority to work in the U.S. EEOE.\n\nCompensation\nSalary Expectations: The compensation for our interns is $60/hour USD + stipend.\nThroughout the interview process, please remember that emails will only be from valon.com email addresses.
