View our open positions below.\nDeltaVAutomation Engineer - Coder/Tester \nContract | Pharmaceutical Manufacturing | Midwest Region \nPosition Summary \nValpro is seeking a DeltaV Automation Engineer - Coder/Tester for a long-term contract supporting a major pharmaceutical manufacturing automation project. This role will develop, configure, test, and troubleshoot Emerson DeltaV Batch software in a GMP environment. \nAnticipated Start: Early 2027 | Expected Duration: Through Q4 2027, with potential extension \nResponsibilities \nDevelop and test DeltaVcontrol modules, equipment modules, phases, recipes, and related configurations. \nTranslate approved functional specifications into compliant DeltaVsoftware. \nPrepare and execute software test cases; document results and defects. \nTroubleshoot software issues, implement approved corrections, and verify changes. \nSupport Software Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT). \nCoordinate with process engineering, automation, validation, and system integration teams. \nRequired Qualifications \nBachelor’s degree in Engineeringor equivalent relevant experience. \nHands-on Emerson DeltaVand DeltaVBatch experience. \nPharmaceutical or regulated life sciences manufacturing experience. \nWorking knowledge of ISA-88 / S88. \nGMP, validation, functional specification, and software testing experience. \nExperience with Good Documentation Practices and change verification. \nStrong written and verbal communication skills. \nPreferred Qualifications \n2+ years of pharmaceutical automation experience. \nAPI or bulk pharmaceutical manufacturing experience. \nExperience with reactors, columns, filters, or filter dryers. \nExperience with P&IDs, PFDs, control strategies, code reviews, or FAT. \nValpro offers flexible career options that includes benefits such as paid time off, paid holidays, medical, 401K match, and other unique incentives.\nWhen receiving e-mails from a Proconex or Valspec recruiter, you will only receive e-mails from addresses ending in @proconexdirect.com, @proconex.net or @valspec.net.
