View our open positions below.\nSenior DeltaVAutomation Engineer \nContract | Pharmaceutical Manufacturing | Midwest Region \nPosition Summary \nValpro is seeking a Senior DeltaV Automation Engineer for a long-term contract supporting a major pharmaceutical manufacturing automation project. This role will provide technical ownership of DeltaV automation for an assigned process area, including functional specifications, control strategies, software development, testing, FAT, and implementation. \nAnticipated Start: Early 2027 | Expected Duration: Through Q4 2027, with potential extension \nResponsibilities \nLead DeltaVautomation activities for an assigned pharmaceutical process area. \nDevelop and review functional specifications, control strategies, phases, and recipes. \nReview P&IDs and define required DeltaVsoftware changes. \nProvide technical oversight of software development and code reviews. \nSupport software testing, FAT, defect resolution, and change verification. \nCoordinate with process engineering, automation, validation, and system integration teams. \nIdentifytechnical risks and resolve automation issues. \nRequired Qualifications \nBachelor’s degree in Engineeringor equivalent relevant experience. \nStrong Emerson DeltaVand DeltaVBatch experience. \nPharmaceutical manufacturing experience. \nWorking knowledge of ISA-88 / S88. \nGMP and validation experience. \nExperience with functional specifications, P&IDs, control strategies, phases, and recipes. \nExperience with DeltaVsoftware/code reviews, testing, and FAT. \nStrong communicationand multidisciplinary collaboration skills. \nPreferred Qualifications \n8+ years of pharmaceutical automation experience. \nAPI or bulk pharmaceutical manufacturing experience. \nExperience with reactors, columns, filters, or filter dryers. \nExperience developing S88 models from P&IDs. \nExperience with Parameter and Recipe Specifications. \nValpro offers flexible career options that includes benefits such as paid time off, paid holidays, medical, 401K match, and other unique incentives.\nWhen receiving e-mails from a Proconex or Valspec recruiter, you will only receive e-mails from addresses ending in @proconexdirect.com, @proconex.net or @valspec.net.
