experience platforms.\nProvide technical leadership across multiple concurrent projects and guide teams through complex implementation challenges.\nProduce architecture documentation, technical specifications and executive-ready presentations.\nLead technical discovery efforts, feasibility assessments and risk identification.\nSupport engineering teams with proof-of-concepts, complex implementations and critical technical decisions.\nEstablish and promote best practices around content modeling, headless delivery, security, performance and maintainability.\nDesign integrations across CRM, commerce, CDP, PIM, DAM, analytics and identity ecosystems.\nDefine data collection, event tracking and analytics strategies that drive personalization, experimentation and business insights.\nAI Solutions & Innovation\nDesign and deliver AI-enabled experiences and workflows leveraging Optimizely Opal, LLM services and emerging AI technologies.\nDefine governance frameworks and guardrails for AI adoption, including privacy, compliance, content quality and human oversight.\nChampion AI-assisted software delivery practices, including code generation, testing automation and developer productivity tools.\nHelp clients identify practical AI use cases that create measurable business value across content, marketing and experimentation workflows.\nClient Advisory & Consulting\nServe as a trusted technical advisor and strategic partner to enterprise clients.\nDefine technology roadmaps and provide recommendations for platform evolution and modernization.\nAdvise on broader MarTech and enterprise ecosystems, ensuring Optimizely integrates effectively with existing platforms and services.\nCollaborate with Product Managers, Business Analysts, Delivery Leads and Creative teams to maximize business impact.\nCommunicate architecture decisions and tradeoffs clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nPractice Growth & Leadership\nStay current with the Optimizely product ecosystem, including CMS, Graph, Experimentation, CMP, Commerce and Opal.\nContribute to business development activities, solution shaping, client workshops and proposal development.\nLead top-down and bottom-up estimation exercises for new opportunities.\nEvaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to Valtech's offerings, accelerators and delivery standards.\nMentor architects and developers while helping define the future direction of the practice.\nManage a small team of direct reports, supporting performance, career growth and professional development.\nWhat you bring\n10+ years of experience in enterprise web development, including at least 5 years in a Solution Architect, Technical Architect or similar leadership role.\nDeep expertise with Optimizely CMS (CMS 12 and/or SaaS CMS), including multiple enterprise implementations delivered as the lead architect.\nStrong .NET background, including C#, ASP.NET Core, MVC and Optimizely APIs.\nExperience delivering headless and hybrid architectures using Optimizely Graph and/or Content Delivery API.\nFront-end integration experience with React, Next.js or similar frameworks.\nStrong understanding of content modeling, personalization, multisite and multilingual implementations.\nExperience integrating enterprise platforms including CRM, commerce, CDP, PIM, DAM, search and identity providers.\nExperience designing analytics and data solutions involving platforms such as Optimizely Data Platform, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Snowflake or BigQuery.\nProven experience delivering AI-enabled capabilities in production environments, including LLM integrations, agents and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) solutions.\nExperience with Optimizely DXP, Azure cloud services, CI/CD pipelines and Git-based development workflows.\nExperience supporting estimation, solution shaping and pre-sales activities.\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills.\nExperience leading, mentoring and developing engineering or architecture teams.\nNice to have\nExperience with Optimizely Commerce, CMP, Web Experimentation, Feature Experimentation or Opal.\nExperience with composable architectures and MACH-inspired ecosystems.\nExposure to additional headless CMS platforms such as Contentful or Contentstack.\nExperience with agent frameworks, vector databases or Model Context Protocol (MCP).\nOptimizely certifications across CMS, SaaS CMS, Commerce, Experimentation or AI products.\nCloud architecture certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect or TOGAF.\nAI-related certifications including Azure AI Engineer Associate, AWS Machine Learning Engineer, Claude Architect certifications, or Google Generative AI credentials.\n\nThe benefits \nThis is a full-time position based in Canada. The offered salary range is 110.000 - 160,000 CAD annually, depending on experience and location. \nValtech offers a comprehensive benefits package effective after three months of continuous service:\nA comprehensive insurance plan, where you can choose the module that best suits your needs-Gold, Silver, or Bronze. The employer may contribute up to 80% of your coverage depending on the selected module.
