This role blends deep database engineering expertise with SRE principles to ensure performance, reliability, scalability, and automation across mission-critical data platforms.\nWhat You Will Do\nArchitect, implement, and maintain MongoDB Atlas and non-Atlas environments, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.\nDesign and enforce resiliency and disaster recovery strategies, including backup, restore, and multi-region failover.\nOptimize database performance and query execution to support application development teams throughout all SDLC phases.\nDevelop and manage infrastructure-as-code solutions (Terraform, GitOps) for database provisioning and automation.\nImplement and refine observability and monitoring solutions using Dynatrace, CloudWatch, and MongoDB native telemetry.\nManage access control, auditing, and encryption to meet enterprise security and compliance requirements.\nCollaborate closely with application, DevOps, and platform teams to continuously improve reliability, performance, and operational excellence.\nLead incident response for database-related issues, drive root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventative measures.\nMentor and guide technical teams, contributing to documentation, standards, and design reviews.\nMinimum Qualifications\n4+ years of experience as a MongoDB DBA, including 4+ years administering MongoDB Atlas.\nStrong experience with the AWS ecosystem (EC2, EKS, CloudWatch, IAM, KMS, VPC, Lambda).\nProficiency in Terraform, GitOps, CI/CD automation, and containerized workloads (EKS/Kubernetes).\nExperience with Dynatrace, Prometheus, or equivalent observability platforms.\nStrong Linux administration expertise and scripting skills (Python, Bash).\nExcellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.\nAbility to participate in on-call rotation and incident response.\nTravel requirement: <10%.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with Kafka, CDC, and enterprise data integration platforms.\nFamiliarity with GitOps practices and infrastructure observability at enterprise
