You bring 5-8 YEARS of experience, a growth mindset and a drive to make a lasting impact. \nYou will thrive in this role if you are: \nA curious problem solver who challenges the status quo \nA collaborator who values teamwork and knowledge-sharing \nExcited by the intersection of technology, creativity and data \nExperienced in Agile methodologies and consulting (a plus) \nRole responsibilities\nWe are looking for a UX Designer with 5-8 years of experience who can take ownership of the UX process and do the UX heavy lifting - from understanding customer needs and business objectives to defining problems, shaping experiences, and delivering thoughtful, user-centric solutions. \nThe ideal candidate is not just someone who creates screens. You should be able to understand customers, speak their language, challenge assumptions, simplify complex problems, and translate insights into meaningful experiences. \nWhat You’ll Do \nLead UX activities across projects, from discovery and problem definition through to final experience design. \nUnderstand customer needs, behaviours, pain points, motivations, and expectations. \nConduct and support user research, interviews, workshops, journey mapping, personas, and usability testing. \nTranslate customer and business requirements into clear UX strategies and solutions. \nDefine information architecture, user flows, journeys, wireframes, and interaction models. \nCreate prototypes and validate concepts with users and stakeholders. \nIdentify usability issues and continuously improve the experience based on evidence and feedback. \nWork closely with UI designers and development teams to ensure UX intent is carried through to the final product. \nCollaborate with product owners, business stakeholders, and clients to align user needs with business goals. \nPresent and articulate design decisions clearly, using customer and business outcomes rather than design jargon. \nChallenge existing assumptions and propose better, simpler, and more effective solutions. \nContribute to design systems, UX standards, and reusable patterns where appropriate. \nWhat We’re Looking For \nMust Have \n5-8 years of professional UX design experience. \nStrong understanding of human-centred design and UX methodologies. \nDemonstrated ability to independently drive UX work and take ownership of complex problems. \nStrong ability to understand customer needs and speak the customer's language. \nExperience translating ambiguous requirements into clear UX problems and actionable solutions. \nStrong skills in: \nUser journeys \nInformation architecture \nUser flows \nWireframing \nPrototyping \nUsability testing \nUX research \nInteraction design \nStrong communication and storytelling skills. \nAbility to explain why a design solution is right, not just what was designed. \nExperience working directly with clients, stakeholders, product teams, and developers. \nStrong proficiency in Figma or equivalent UX/design tools. \nThe Person We’re Looking For \nWe value problem-solvers over screen-makers. \nYou should be someone who: \nStarts with the customer problem, not the UI. \nIs comfortable asking “Why?” and challenging the brief when needed. \nCan turn complex business requirements into simple customer experiences. \nCan work with incomplete information and bring structure to ambiguity. \nIs confident conducting conversations with customers and stakeholders. \nCan advocate for users while understanding business realities. \nUses research, data, and evidence to support design decisions. \nIs comfortable owning the UX process from discovery → definition → design → validation. \nCan balance user needs, business objectives, technology constraints, and feasibility. \nHas strong attention to detail without losing sight of the bigger experience. \nNice to Have \nExperience working on large-scale digital products or enterprise platforms. \nExperience across web, mobile, or native applications. \nExperience in design systems and component-based design. \nExperience facilitating design thinking workshops or discovery sessions. \nExposure to accessibility and WCAG principles. \nExperience working in Agile/Scrum environments. \nExperience using AI tools to accelerate UX research, ideation, prototyping, or analysis. \nWhat Success Looks Like \nWithin this role, you will be expected to: \nUnderstand → Define → Solve → Validate \nYou should be able to take a customer or business problem, understand it deeply, define the right UX problem, develop meaningful solutions, validate them, and clearly communicate the rationale behind your decisions. \nCore Attribute \nWe are looking for a UX designer who can do the UX heavy lifting - someone who understands customers deeply, speaks their language, owns the problem, and can turn complexity into simple, meaningful experiences. \nIf you do not meet all the listed qualifications or have gaps in your experience, we still encourage you to apply.
