We deliver quality products that perform in demanding environments.\nValto is searching is searching for a Mid Atlantic District Sales Manager to be home based in the core market area. Reporting to Regional Sales Manager, this person will be responsible for developing and executing sales plans by district, by customer, by product and by geographical area. By building relationships and coordinating all sales activity within the territory, the DSM will be expected to maximize revenue, market share, and profitability for the company.\nThe ideal candidate will have 5 years of professional selling experience and be located in the Philadelphia or Baltimore metropolitan area. Experience in channel partner, demand creation, and/or building products industry experience.\nHow you’ll make an impact in this role:\nDevelop and execute a strategic plan for district, by customer, product and geographical area (including sales plan and shipping profit plan).\nDevelop and execute market share gains by customer, product and geographical area.\nDevelop and execute a plan to drive specifications within district while working closely with Regional Specification Manager.\nDevelop and execute a plan to service all distribution customers in district while working directly with customer service representative. \nDrive new product introductions through customer presentations, sales calls and promotional activities.\nRegularly update and maintain customer correspondence in Salesforce.com including weekly reports, opportunity sales funnel, and planned meetings with customers.\nWhat You'll Bring to the Table:\nBachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or equivalent work experience required.\nAbility to effectively communicate and interact with co-workers, customers, supervisors, and technical organizations in a positive and objective manner.\nExperience with customers, channel partners, architects and designers.\n5 years professional selling experience. Preference with channel partner, demand creation, and/or building products industry experience. \nOvernight travel up to 50%.\nAbility to work independently. Ideal candidate will be able to plan, schedule, and organize work priorities and objectives with minimal onsite supervision.\nWork Environment & Physical Demands:\nThis position is primarily remote and requires the employee to work from a home office environment with periodic travel to company facilities, customer locations, training events, or meetings.\nWe offer a comprehensive total rewards package that includes bonus eligibility and a competitive benefits program.
