Industrial Network Architect (Contract)

Design plant networks that stay reliable through heavy machinery, metal structures and electrical interference.

What you'll do

Run site surveys, RF studies and network assessments on manufacturing floors
Design private 5G/LTE (CBRS), industrial Ethernet and resilient Wi-Fi mesh architectures
Specify segmentation, redundancy (ring topologies, PRP/HSR) and low-latency paths for control traffic
Oversee installation of switches, access points, fiber and cabling with client and subcontractor crews
Validate performance and hand over network documentation and runbooks

Requirements

7+ years in network engineering, 3+ in industrial or OT environments
Experience with Cisco IE, Hirschmann, Moxa or comparable industrial switching
Private wireless or industrial Wi-Fi design experience
Understanding of the Purdue model and IT/OT network separation

Nice to have: CCNP/CCIE, CWNE, private 5G vendor certifications (Nokia, Ericsson, Celona), TSN knowledge.
