With operations spanning retail, bakery, restaurant, and café services, we pride ourselves on creating value for our customers, empowering our employees, and contributing positively to the communities we serve.\n\nWe are recruiting to fill the position below:\n\nJob Title: Accountant \n\nLocation: Maitama, Abuja (FCT) \n\nDepartment: Accounts and Finance\n\nReports To: General Manager\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n Sales Reconciliation: Reconcile daily sales from POS, cash, transfers, and card payments against cashier reports.\n\n Cash Management: Verify cash balances, monitor deposits, and investigate shortages, overages, and unexplained discrepancies.\n\n Expense Management: Record and monitor expenses, verify receipts and invoices, and ensure payments are properly authorized.\n\n Inventory Control: Work with the Storekeeper and Head Chef to monitor stock purchases, usage, wastage, and food costs.\n\n Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate daily, weekly, and monthly sales, expense, and profit reports.\n\n Supplier Accounts: Maintain supplier records, verify invoices, track outstanding balances, and prepare payment schedules.\n\n Payroll: Prepare salary schedules, verify approved deductions, overtime, allowances, and staff advances.\n\n Internal Control: Ensure all transactions are properly documented and comply with company policies and procedures.\n\n Audit and Compliance: Maintain accurate financial records and ensure documents are available for audits and statutory reporting.\n\n Fraud Prevention: Identify and promptly report unauthorized transactions, financial irregularities, and suspected fraud to management.\n\nKey Performance Indicators (KPIs)\n\n Accuracy and timely completion of daily sales reconciliation.\n\n Proper accountability for all revenue and expenses.\n\n Timely submission of financial reports.\n\n Accurate stock and food-cost monitoring.\n\n Accurate payroll and supplier account records.\n\n Prompt reporting of financial discrepancies.\n\n Compliance with company financial policies.\n\nQualifications\n\n Interested candidates should possess an HND / Bachelor`s Degree with 1 -
