The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in Postman, REST Assured, REST/SOAP APIs, JSON/XML, CI/CD, JIRA, and automation framework development. Mandatory US Healthcare domain experience is required, with the ability to validate healthcare workflows, claims, and integrated applications while ensuring high-quality software delivery in an Agile environment.\n\nResponsibilities :\n\n- Collaborate with product owners and development teams to understand business requirements and acceptance criteria for API-related features.\n\n- Contribute to defining test strategies, including both manual and automated approaches, to effectively validate APIs.\n\n- Design, develop, and maintain robust automation test suites for API and UI testing using Playwright, Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools.\n\n- Build automated frameworks to streamline testing, reduce manual overhead, and ensure consistency.\n\n- Integrate automated tests into Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).\n\n- Execute manual and automated tests, analyze results, and identify root causes of defects.\n\n- Track and report defects using bug-tracking tools like JIRA, ensuring defects are assigned to the correct teams and resolved in a timely manner.\n\n- Provide clear and concise test results, metrics, and status updates to stakeholders.\n\n- Participate in code reviews of test scripts and mentor team members on best practices for test automation.\n\n- Work closely with the development team to ensure APIs are designed for testability and reliability.\n\n- Continuously evaluate and recommend new tools or processes to improve test coverage, reliability, and speed.\n\nRequired Skills :\n\n- 7+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or Test Automation with strong expertise in API and UI automation.\n\n- Hands-on experience with Playwright using JavaScript/TypeScript or Java for end-to-end test automation.\n\n- Strong experience in API automation using Postman, REST Assured, Playwright API Testing, Karate, SoapUI, or similar tools.\n\n- Experience in designing and maintaining scalable automation frameworks.\n\n- Familiarity with RESTful/SOAP APIs, JSON/XML, web technologies, and API design principles.\n\n- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).\n\n- Experience with defect tracking tools such as JIRA.\n\n- Healthcare domain experience is preferred.\nSkills\nSoftware Quality Assurance, Testing, Automation Testing, API Testing,
