PMO & Portfolio Coordination Consultant

We are currently looking for PMO & Portfolio Coordination Consultant for our Qatar operations

Role summary:

The PMO & Portfolio Coordination Consultant will support the Strategy PMO in portfolio reporting, CapEx planning coordination, governance follow-up, and executive management reporting. The role requires strong hands-on coordination, data consolidation, stakeholder follow-up, and reporting skills to ensure accurate, timely, and actionable portfolio information across business, Finance, and PMO stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

Portfolio Reporting & Monitoring

• Consolidate updates from project managers and business units
• Maintain portfolio dashboards and project trackers
• Perform data-quality reviews and challenge missing or inconsistent information
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and ad hoc portfolio reports
• Track milestones, approvals, deliverables, and outstanding actions
• Proactively follow up with stakeholders for timely updates
• CapEx Planning & Coordination
• Coordinate annual CapEx collection across divisions and subsidiaries
• Consolidate and validate CapEx submissions
• Track CapEx requests through governance and approval stages
• Reconcile CapEx information across business, Finance, and PMO records
• Prepare prioritization and management decision packs
• Maintain CapEx pipelines and trackers
• Support reforecasting and budget-adjustment exercises
• Produce reporting on CapEx consumption, pipeline, and approval status
• PMO Coordination & Management Reporting
• Coordinate governance meetings and prepare agendas, packs, and minutes
• Maintain action logs and follow up on outstanding actions
• Develop executive presentations and management reports
• Analyze portfolio information and highlight key observations
• Support project managers in complying with PMO requirements

Required skills

• Strong hands-on PMO / portfolio coordination experience
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, reporting, and data reconciliation
• Excellent PowerPoint and executive presentation skills
• Experience with portfolio/project management systems, preferably Planview and/or MS Project
• Strong data validation, cleansing, and reconciliation capabilities
• Strong stakeholder coordination and follow-up skills
• Ability to work with senior stakeholders and across PMO, Finance, and business teams
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
