The Construction Manager ensures compliance with applicable safety regulations, quality standards, and operational procedures while maintaining effective communication with clients, project managers, and site personnel.\nThis position requires a high level of technical competence, leadership ability, and organizational skill to successfully deliver complex construction and installation projects.\nPrimary Duties and Responsibilities\nProject Planning and Execution\nPlan and manage construction activities from project mobilization through completion.\nInterpret engineering drawings, specifications, schedules, and contract documents.\nCoordinate sequencing of installation activities to optimize workflow and efficiency.\nEnsure project milestones and deadlines are achieved according to approved schedules.\nIdentify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to prevent delays.\nMonitor project progress and adjust resources as required. Site Leadership and Team Management\nLead and supervise site supervisors, subcontractors, and installation teams.\nAssign work activities and ensure proper manpower allocation.\nProvide direction and technical guidance to ensure proper installation procedures.\nMaintain accountability for team performance and productivity.\nFoster a professional and collaborative work environment. Safety Management and Compliance\nEnsure compliance with OSHA and site-specific safety regulations.\nEnforce use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe work practices.\nConduct regular site safety inspections and toolbox talks.\nIdentify hazards and implement corrective actions immediately.\nMaintain safety documentation and incident reports. Quality Assurance and Technical Oversight\nEnsure installation activities meet engineering specifications and quality standards.\nInspect completed work to verify compliance with design requirements.\nIdentify defects and coordinate corrective actions.\nEnsure adherence to installation sequences and technical procedures.\nCoordinate with engineering teams regarding technical clarifications. Schedule and Progress Control\nMonitor daily and weekly progress against project schedule.\nIdentify potential delays and implement corrective actions.\nCoordinate with subcontractors to maintain production targets.\nTrack project milestones and provide status updates to management. Coordination and Communication\nServe as primary on-site point of contact for project stakeholders.\nCoordinate activities with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and clients.\nConduct regular project meetings and provide progress reports.\nMaintain clear and professional communication with all stakeholders.\nDocument project updates, risks, and key decisions. Material and Logistics Coordination\nCoordinate delivery, storage, and allocation of materials.\nEnsure materials are available to support installation activities.\nMonitor inventory and identify shortages or damaged materials.\nMaintain organized laydown areas to support efficient workflow. Documentation and Reporting\nMaintain project records including daily reports, progress logs, and issue tracking.\nPrepare reports related to progress, manpower, safety, and quality.\nDocument delays, risks, and corrective actions.\nEnsure proper record keeping for contractual and compliance purposes.\nMinimum Qualifications\nEducation\nBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).\nExperience\nMinimum 5 years of experience in construction management or related field.\nExperience managing subcontractors and field installation activities.\nExperience coordinating multiple trades on active construction sites.\nExperience interpreting engineering drawings and technical documentation.\nTravel:\nMust be able to travel up to 80-90% (domestic or international)\nWork Environment and Physical Demands:\nThe work environment/physical requirements described here are representative of those an employee may encounter while performing the essential functions of this job. The salary range listed represents the maximum and minimum starting base pay for this position as of the time of posting.
