This role involves maintaining high-end automated material handling solutions critical to our customer's business. The system includes electro-mechanical components controlled by low-level and high-level control systems. You will be responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance activities during your shift, ensuring professional delivery of maintenance services.\nKey Responsibilities\nConduct electrical maintenance inspections\nDiagnose and repair electrical systems\nEnsure compliance with electrical safety standards\nAssist with mechanical duties as needed\nThis is a full-time, on-site role with 12-hour shifts on a 24/7 roster.\nQualifications\nElectrical qualification (Cert III in Electrotechnology) and contractor/supervisor license\n3-5 years of relevant experience as a Service Engineer/Technician\nUnderstanding of industrial controls (PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, etc.)\nStrong electrical background with mechanical aptitude\nDual Trade Certificate (electrical and mechanical) is highly regarded\nExperience in logistics, postal sorting, and baggage handling systems is highly regarded\nPosition Requirements\nObtain an Aviation Security Identification Card for Sydney Airport\nPass criminal and ID checks to verify work entitlements in Australia\nFully vaccinated for COVID-19\nPass a pre-employment medical examination, including drug and alcohol testing\nDiversity & inclusion\nVanderlande is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
