We are committed to innovation, operational excellence, and creating a collaborative environment where employees can grow and succeed.\nAbout the Role\nVanderlande is seeking a Panel Shop Supervisor (Working Lead) to help launch and support our new electrical panel shop located in White, GA. Reporting directly to the Production Manager, this position will play a critical role in establishing production operations, leading daily workflow activities, and ensuring that quality and production goals are achieved.\nThis is a hands-on leadership position. The successful candidate will not only supervise and coordinate work within the panel shop but will also actively participate in the assembly, wiring, testing, and troubleshooting of industrial control panels. As the shop continues to grow, this individual will help develop processes, mentor team members, and drive continuous improvement initiatives that support operational excellence.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead daily operations and workflow within the panel shop to support production schedules and customer requirements.\nPerform hands-on assembly, wiring, testing, and troubleshooting of industrial electrical control panels.\nSupervise and support panel shop technicians, providing guidance, training, and technical expertise.\nEnsure all work is completed according to electrical schematics, engineering drawings, quality standards, and safety requirements.\nCoordinate with Production, Manufacturing Engineering, and other cross-functional teams to address technical issues and improve efficiency.\nMonitor productivity, quality, and work cell performance while communicating progress and potential concerns to the Production Manager.\nMaintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment while promoting compliance with company safety programs.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives related to panel design, assembly processes, and production throughput.\nAssist with panel inspections, testing, documentation, and quality verification activities.\nRequirements\nHigh School Diploma, GED, Technical Diploma, or equivalent combination of education and experience.\n3-5 years of experience assembling, wiring, troubleshooting, or testing industrial electrical control panels.\nPrevious experience leading a team, directing work activities, or serving as a lead technician in a manufacturing environment.\nAbility to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts.\nKnowledge of industrial electrical components, including relays, contactors, circuit breakers, terminal blocks, power supplies, and PLC I/O.\nExperience using electrical hand tools and test equipment, including multimeters, wire strippers, crimpers, and torque tools.\nUnderstanding of electrical safety practices, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and NFPA 70E principles.\nAbility to lift up to 50 pounds and perform work requiring standing, bending, and repetitive movement throughout the workday.\nPreferred Qualifications\nAssociate degree in Electrical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or a related field.\nExperience with UL 508A panel construction and/or UL MTR certification.\nCertified Electrician or equivalent electrical trade certification.\nExperience in material handling systems, conveyors, automation equipment, AGVs, or AS/RS systems.\nPrevious experience helping establish or grow a manufacturing or panel shop operation.\nLean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement experience.\nVanderlande is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
