At Vanderlande, we are looking to scale our Value Engineering capability using intelligent agents, while keeping expert accountability at the core. Currently, a lot of time is spent addressing recurring cost and value questions during product development. By introducing AI tools, we aim to assist Value Engineers and enable colleagues across the organization to answer these questions independently.\nDuring this project, you will focus on two key workstreams: VE Productivity Agents for rapid cost and value assessments, and VE Self-Service Agents. You will evaluate technical feasibility, identify risks, define governance frameworks, and map out human-agent responsibilities into a clear implementation roadmap. It is a great opportunity to shape practical AI applications within an international engineering environment.\nDepartment description\nYou will join the Value Engineering team, which is part of Demand Management within the Procurement department. We are a small, focused group of Value Engineers who work closely with Technology and Global Solutions teams.\nOur team helps make the right decisions early in the project lifecycle to achieve cost reductions and enhance product value.
