This is a full-time on-site role incorporating 12hr shifts on a 24/7 roster located at Sydney International Airport. The Electrical Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and troubleshooting of all electrical systems and equipment. Tasks may include, but are not limited to, conducting electrical maintenance inspections, diagnosing and repairing electrical systems and components, and ensuring compliance with WHS standards.\nKey Focus Areas\nPreventative and corrective maintenance (electrical). \nFault finding on automated systems. \nUsing data analytics to enhance system performance. \nProviding technical support to our customers. \nQualifications\nThe successful candidate will have the following:\nAustralian Trade qualification with Certificate III in Engineering - Electrical, with at least 3 to 5 years' post-trade experience as a Service Technician\nStrong electrical background working on industrial automated equipment. \nIntermediate Microsoft Office skills. \nGood written and verbal communication skills (English). \nHighly Regarded\nDual Trade Certificate (electrical and mechanical).\nExperience in logistics, postal sorting, and baggage handling systems is highly regarded. \nExperience with automation (conveyors and sortation systems) \nHighly motivated with a keen interest in further developing your own abilities and studies. \n Diversity & inclusion\nVanderlande is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
