Through innovation, reliability, and a commitment to continuous improvement, we help customers optimize critical operations while creating a safe, collaborative, and growth-oriented environment for our employees.\nAbout the Role\nThe Physical Distribution Employee II is responsible for supporting warehouse and distribution operations through the receiving, storage, identification, movement, collection, packaging, and shipment of materials and equipment.\nThis role plays an important part in ensuring products are handled safely, accurately, and efficiently to meet customer and project requirements.\nWorking in a fast-paced warehouse environment, this position supports inbound and outbound logistics activities, inventory management, material handling, and shipping operations while maintaining high standards for safety, quality, and operational excellence.\nKey Responsibilities\nReceive, identify, store, move, pick, package, and ship materials in accordance with established procedures.\nSupport inbound, outbound, and reverse logistics processes while ensuring inventory accuracy.\nPerform loading and unloading activities using material handling equipment, including forklifts.\nMonitor project-related materials and outbound shipments, coordinating with Supply Chain, Shipping, and Forwarding teams as required.\nPerform cycle counts and inventory control activities to maintain accurate stock records.\nUtilize company systems and software tools to track inventory and outbound project requirements.\nEnsure goods are properly identified, packaged, and documented prior to shipment.\nMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while complying with all safety regulations and procedures.\n\nRequirements\nHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent.\nMinimum of 1 year of warehouse, logistics, distribution, or material handling experience.\nMinimum of 1 year of forklift operating experience.\nValid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.\nAbility to safely lift and move materials and work in a physically demanding environment.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\nBasic computer skills and ability to learn warehouse management systems.\nPreferred Qualifications\nForklift Operator Certification.\nAssociate degree, technical certification, or training in Logistics, Supply Chain, Warehousing, or a related field.\nKnowledge of shipping, receiving, inventory control, and packaging processes.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications.\nBasic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with warehouse or industrial equipment.\nExperience supporting project-based logistics and outbound shipment activities.\nWork Environment\nThis position operates primarily in a warehouse and manufacturing environment. Employees may be exposed to varying temperatures, elevated noise levels, moving mechanical equipment, and material handling activities. Proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required at all times.\nThe role requires standing, walking, bending, lifting, climbing, and other physical activities throughout the workday.
