Your direct approach ensures progress, continuous improvement, and successful site handovers, making a tangible impact on our projects and team.\nResponsibilities\nList of responsibilities\nSupervision: Organize and supervise the installation of mechanical and electromechanical equipment for Vanderlande material handling projects in line with the project schedule.\nGuidance: Provide clear instructions to the onsite installation team, ensuring that all installation work complies with quality standards and strictly adheres to Vanderlande processes.\nSafety Focus: Foster a culture of safety among installations team throughout the project execution.\nSurveying: Conduct surveys for installation areas, check readiness & facilities required for installation. Support for the site handover.\nQuality Control: Maintain a strong onsite presence through regular site walks and a thorough auditing schedule, with a focus on safety and quality control in alignment with Vanderlande standards.\nMonitoring & Reporting: Contribute to creating the project installation schedule and adhere to it to meet project timelines.\nMonitor the team's progress, identify opportunities for improvement, and support continuous enhancement efforts.\nRegularly report on work progress to the Site Manager, ensuring effective coordination with subcontractors and stakeholders.\nContinuous Improvement: Assume responsibility for training new technicians to enhance their skills, fostering ongoing team improvement, and promoting the core value of \"Everyday Better\" through lessons learned.\nSupport: Organize and facilitate all support activities to ensure a smooth commissioning and testing process until handover to the customer.\nResponsible for activities\nPerform Mechanical Installation\nPerform Mechanical Static inspection.\nResponsible for deliverables\nAs Built Notes & Drawings\nDefect List\nConsulted in activities.\nCommission Conveying\nCommission Safety Span of Control\nCreate Installation Spare Parts ME\nCreate Site Management Plan\nMake EM Documentation as built.\nPre-Commission Conveying Cabinet\nPre-Commission Safety\nPre-Commission Safety PLC - Cabinet\nDesired Experience\nMinimum 2-5 years of experience in executing material handling projects/ leading Site installation teams for MHS.\nIn-depth knowledge of conveyor systems, their components, and mechanical equipment commonly used in material handling.\nAbility to comprehend engineering drawings, specifications, layouts, and effectively interpret project and planning schedules.\nExperienced in proficiently troubleshooting and problem-solving to address any technical challenges during installation.\nExperience in maintaining quality control during installation, ensuring systems operate efficiently and reliably.\nThe ability to conduct precise surveys of installation areas, assess readiness, and ensure accurate alignment and installation of conveyor systems based on survey data.\nHand on experience with AutoCAD, Navis and would be advantageous.\nDesired Soft skills\nEffective communication skills\nSomebody who takes the initiative.\nA Creative thinker/ Analytical Person\nDiscipline\nFlexibility / adaptability\nResults orientation, driven to succeed.\nA strong collaborator\nPersuasiveness\nPreferred Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.\nTravel:\nThis position may require travel to project sites as necessary for project execution and support.\nCandidates should be prepared to travel as part of their responsibilities.
