They ensure proper scheduling, recordkeeping, and inventory control.\nEssential Functions (Job Duties and Responsibilities):\nOversee spare parts process from order, thru receiving and inbounding, put-a-way to distribution and finally replacement \nPrepare spare parts quotations; send out RFQ’s to Assigned Spare Part Coordinator, archive supplier quotations, and consolidate supplier quotations. \nStart and implement initiatives to increase spare parts sales with customer. \nManage, develop, and grow customer relationships. \nProcess and manage spare parts packages from ordering through delivery. \nMonitor shipping and custom clearance. \nCoordinate and track delivery to customers and ensure acceptance of delivery by customer. \nManage transportation costs on inbound and outbound orders. \nOrder spare parts packages for Projects and ensure timely delivery of parts. \nMonitor current trends in supplier performance on cost and lead-times. \nIn cooperation with accounting, follow up on outstanding invoice payments for spare parts. \nReview orders and ensure monthly close out for invoicing. \nSet up new customers and suppliers. \nTake initiative to improve processes and implement. \nReview orders and ensure monthly close out for invoicing. \nConduct monthly inventory cycle counts\nMonitor and set parts min/max levels and ensure that orders are placed on a weekly/monthly bases to maintain levels\nControl parts disbursement process to techs, in order to maintain inventory accuracy \nEstablish all regularly scheduled maintenance and inspection activities in AMS \nEstablish all routine maintenance activities, such as scheduled inspections, routine preventative maintenance, and common repairs, as job plans in AMS. \nMonitor and update status of work orders in AMS. \nGenerate follow-up work orders in AMS for maintenance and repair activity identified as needed during preventative maintenance checks. \nGenerate corrective work orders in AMS as identified by contractor, airport, or airline personnel. \nSchedule work orders based on available resources, priority, schedules, etc. \nEnter data in AMS such as labor hours, parts usage, failure report information, downtime, follow-up work required, asset data, notes, etc. upon completion of work orders. \nPerform additional duties as required by leadership. \nRequired Education and Experience:\nMinimum 2 years of relevant experience. \nStrong knowledge of Microsoft Office (specifically Excel) \nStrong knowledge of inventory control practices \nExperience in support of engineering/construction or service projects \nExperience handling multiple tasks in a high-energy office. \nValid Drivers License \nOther Requirements:\nMust be able to attain and sustain an Airport ID Badge\nPreferred Qualifications:\nBS in Industrial Engineering or Business Administration \nExperience with JD Edwards \nExperience with Dos Maximo \nParts knowledge of conveyor systems \nKnowledge-Skills-Abilities (Competencies):\nGeneral technical knowledge of conveyor systems. \nStrong attention to detail \nStrong work ethic and initiative; who would like to grow and develop within the organization. \nAbility to solve problems which disturb the daily operation. \nAbility to work under limited supervision \nAbility to identify issues that need extra attention \nSelf-reliant in a variety of less interrelated technical tasks \nPosition Type/Expected Hours of Work:\nThis is a full-time position, working 8-5pm Monday through Friday. Overtime and weekend work is possible.\nTravel Requirements: This position may require the ability and willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time within the U.S. prior to go-live to support onboarding, training, and operational readiness activities. Following go-live, travel requirements are expected to decrease to less than 10%.
