You will work closely with engineering\ndisciplines, project teams, and customers to ensure systems are thoroughly tested and\nmeet defined requirements.\nYou will also contribute to improving testing practices, reviewing test artefacts,\ninvestigating defects, and supporting the development of junior Test Integration\nEngineers.\nWhat you will do / Key Responsibilities\nTesting & Integration\nIndependently plan and execute integration, system, and acceptance testing\nactivities.\nLead testing activities for assigned subsystems and functional areas.\nPrepare and execute test cases based on system requirements, system designs,\nand approved test plans.\nSupport FAT, SAT, and other customer acceptance activities.\nAnalyse and evaluate test results and identify deviations or defects.\nVerify implemented solutions and confirm successful resolution of identified\ndefects.\nReview and approve test cases, test procedures, and other relevant test\nartefacts.\nEnsure testing activities are performed according to project and engineering\nstandards.\nDefect Investigation & Troubleshooting\nDrive investigation of defects identified during testing.\nPerform detailed analysis of system behaviour, logs, and test results.\nCoordinate with software, controls, electrical, and other engineering teams to\nresolve technical issues.\nVerify corrective actions and ensure defects are properly closed.\nIdentify recurring issues and contribute to preventive actions and process\nimprovements.\nTeam & Stakeholder Coordination\nCoach and support junior Test Integration Engineers.\nCoordinate testing activities with multidisciplinary project teams.\nCommunicate testing progress, risks, issues, and results to project stakeholders.\nSupport customer discussions related to testing and system acceptance.\nContribute to continuous improvement of testing methods, tools, and\nprocesses.\nWhat you bring\nB.E. / B.Tech in Electronics, Instrumentation, Electrical, E&TC, or Computer\nEngineering.\n4-6 years of relevant experience in software testing, system testing, integration\ntesting, or a related engineering environment.\nStrong understanding of software testing and development life cycles, including\nV-Model, CMMI, Agile, and test processes.\nHands-on experience with Polarion, Jira, Oracle PL/SQL, and Unix.\nExperience in preparing and reviewing test cases, test plans, integration plans,\nand system design documentation.\nStrong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to independently execute testing activities and coordinate with multiple\nengineering disciplines.\nStrong communication and stakeholder management skills.\nExperience mentoring or supporting junior engineers is an advantage.\nWillingness to travel extensively based on business requirements and on short\nnotice.\nKnowledge of PLC, SCADA, airport baggage handling, material handling, or\ndistribution systems is an advantage.\nAbout Vanderlande\nVanderlande makes automated systems that handle baggage at airports and sort\nparcels in logistics networks around the world.
