Position Overview
The Product Pathway is designed for individuals interested in the intersection of investments, technology, and business strategy. Participants gain exposure to investment products, financial markets, product strategy, data, and digital platforms while partnering across teams to deliver client-focused solutions. Through rotational experiences, participants develop skills in product management, stakeholder engagement, data-driven decision-making, and strategic problem-solving, creating a strong foundationfor careers in product leadership within financial services.
Ideal candidates are intellectually curious, adaptable, and energized by solving complex problems as a team in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Translate business needs into clear requirements and actionable insights, serve as a liaison tothe business,and partner with cross-divisional teams todeliver high-impact solutions for the business and clients
Analyze product performance, market trends, and client behavior using dashboards and analytical tools to inform decisions
Assistintechnology or investmentproduct launches, enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring alignment to client and business outcomes
Communicate product updates, insights, and recommendations to senior stakeholdersthrough effective storytelling anddata visualization
Stay informed on financial markets, investment strategies, and emerging technologies to inform product thinking
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analyticsor a related field
Interest and/or experience with investment products, financial markets, or asset managementwhether through coursework, internships, or self-driven learning
Interest and/or experience with data analysis, technology platforms, orAI tools whether through coursework, internships, or self-driven learning
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and build relationships across teams and stakeholders
Adaptable, intellectually curious, and comfortable navigating ambiguity
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results
Demonstrated leadership mindset and strategic orientation, with the ability to connect decisions to broader client, business, and market outcomes

The Accelerated Career Development Program (ACDP) is a two-year immersive development program that provides skill advancement, mentorship, real-world experience, and targeted training to accelerate participants into project management, sales, or product career pathways. These pathways have been intentionally and thoughtfully curated to align with Vanguard’s evolving business needs-ensuring we are building the capabilities required for today while preparing crew and leaders for what’snext. Each participant will rotate through different divisions, take on key assignments, support long-term strategic initiatives, and help shape the experience of our fiftymillion investors worldwide!
