Even with Vanguard’s state of the art technology, vast manufacturing capability, and leading-edge information tools, we wake up every day thinking about how best to serve our customers, suppliers, and the communities in which we live.\nRequirements\nWhat you’ll do:\n Prep electronic components for printed circuit board following detailed instruction.\n Inspect and quality check own work and the work of others; ensure that products meet all customer and regulatory requirements.\n Communicate quality issues to the appropriate team and manager as needed.\n Assist in other departments as needed and participate in controlled process improvement projects.\n Performs other duties as assigned.\n What you’ll need:\n Displays a high-level critical thinking, analysis, and organization. \n Demonstrated self-motivation, problem solving abilities, team spirit and a “hands on” mentality.\n Strong attention to detail and proficient communication skills, both written and oral.\n Ability to give and receive constructive feedback.\n Solid understanding of common manufacturing processes, equipment operation, and basic electronic component identification and board handling (PCBA).\n Effectively manipulate small and/or fragile components and tools.\n Ability to use visual aids, complicated drawings to verify quality products. \n Willingness to work overtime as needed to support production (daily and weekly).\n Normal color vision.\n Education and/or Experience\n High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent\n Preferred Qualifications\n Experience with pre wave processing\n IPC 610 certification\n The physical demands and work environment characteristics described above are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
