Manage L1 and L2 DBA tasks, including incident handling, root cause analysis and preventive actions.\n Perform backup and recovery using RMAN, including database cloning (e.g. duplicate database).\nUse Oracle utilities and features such asexpdp/impdp, partitioning, advanced compression, LOB management and concurrent statistics.\nConduct performance tuning using SQL Plan Management (SPM), hints and SQL Tuning Advisor.\n Analyze AWR/ASH/ADDM reports and implement tuning recommendations.\nTroubleshoot database issues such as TNS/network connectivity, tablespace/FRA utilization, user privilege problems and alert log errors.\n Manage shift duties together with other team members to support production operations.\nOptimization, Automation & AI‑Assisted Operations\n Identify opportunities to automate routine DBAtasks (monitoring, reporting, housekeeping, capacity checks) using scripting and available tools.\n Leverage the company’s on‑premise ChatGPTEngine and GitHub Copilot to improve productivity in scripting, documentation and problem analysis.\nCollaborate with internal big data teams using Hadoop and Greenplum platforms to ensure efficient data flow between Oracle databases and big data systems.\nSupport initiatives to integrate database telemetry with big data / analytics platforms for advanced monitoring, anomaly detection and performance insights.\nWork closely with application, infrastructure and manufacturing teams to ensure high availability and performance of fab systems.\nMaintain up to date technical documentation, standard operating procedures and knowledge base articles.\nShare best practices and provide guidance to junior team members or L1 support where required.\nJob Requirements:\nMinimum 3 to 5 years of solid hands‑on experience as an Oracle DBA in production environments, including BAU support.\n Proven experience managing L1 and L2 DBA tasks (incident handling, monitoring, performance tuning, backup and recovery).\nStrong knowledge of RMAN, AWR/ASH/ADDM, SQL tuning and Oracle performance optimization techniques.\n Practical experience with expdp/impdp, partitioning, advanced compression, LOBs and related Oracle features.\n Good understanding of database security, user/role management and auditing concepts.\nExperience in troubleshooting connectivity issues, storage/tablespace problems and database availability incidents.\nFamiliarity with scripting (e.g. Shell, Python or similar) for automation of DBA tasks.\nAbility to work in a shift-based support model and respond to production
