May supervise office/field administrative staff, project/field engineers, assistant project/construction managers, project/construction managers and other assigned staff. This position will support construction in the Education Sector.\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities:\nThe Senior Project Manager is responsible for providing the following services or for supervising the Project Management team members that perform these services:\nPrimary contact and liaison for owner and principal partner entities for the contract, design, systems, procedures and related deliverables\nDevelops project specific procedures and documentation, and consults with Owner on design and construction contracts and related A/E systems for the project\nEnsures contracts, drawings, estimates, and specifications comply with construction/project requirements\nObtains, maintains, and manages data, information, communications, and approvals required by project and company requirements between owner, architects, engineers, and other project-related entities\nRepresents owner, project and related parties in public forums and meetings\nEnsures project closeout and associated documentation meet contractual requirements for final project delivery to owner entities.\nAssumes the lead in project meetings, and supervises work of others to include documentation, administration, and tracking of relevant information and statuses, and follow-up on action items of all participants.\nProvides senior-level management support to the client and coordinates, directs, and monitors activities of construction management staff, contractors/subcontractors, engineers, architects, state and local agencies, and other project-related entities.\nEnsures the project team adheres to applicable safety requirements and organizational safety policies while promoting a collaborative safety culture.\nManages bid phase services, as may be required by the client\nIndependently leads assigned projects and directs the project team.\nReviews and negotiates change orders.\nOversee project and program scheduling, estimating, and execution planning, including schedule development and management.\nOversees quality control and quality assurance throughout design and construction phases.\nCommunicate with project stakeholders regarding program requirements, design scope, budget, schedule, and construction impacts.\nEnsures project management plans and procedures manuals are developed in accordance with contract requirements.\nOversee monthly contractor payment application reviews.\nPrepares accident and incident reports and conducts follow-up investigations.\nEnsures contractors, architects, engineers, and other project team members comply with applicable contract requirements.\nPerforms other duties as required\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree required, with a degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related technical discipline preferred.\n5+ years of experience working on DSA public education projects required.\n3+ years of experience working on Higher Education/Community College projects preferred.\nExperience with alternate delivery methods is preferred.\nExperience with design-phase management, RFQ/RFP processes, bidding, and construction management required.\nConstruction contract administration required.\nGood verbal and written communication skills.\nGood organizational skills and attention to detail.\nKnowledge of database project controls software systems such as Project Team, Procore, or similar required.\nStrong computer skills and proficiency in Bluebeam, Microsoft Office required.\nAdvanced knowledge and application of project development, design-phase management, construction estimating and cost, project controls and scheduling, documentation, engineering and construction principles, techniques and practices, contracts, and project delivery methods are required.\nFunctional knowledge of contracts, drawings, estimates, and specifications to ensure compliance with construction and project requirements.\nStrong computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite products, and experience with project-related systems such as Prolog and Primavera are required\nProficiency with various document control systems, as well as new construction and modernization of K-12 schools is preferred\nRegistration as an Architect or Professional Engineer is preferred\nCertified Construction Manager
