This role focuses heavily on strategic sourcing for electronic components and electronic engineering parts, alongside managing assembly factory operations and logistics networks. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of the electronics ecosystem and a proven track record of securing critical supply during fast-changing market conditions.\nWhat you’ll do\nElectronic Component & Supply Management: Manage and optimize the supply chain for electronic components, PCBA, and electro-mechanical parts. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key component manufacturers, distributors, and vendors.\nShortage & Allocation Mitigation (Expediting): Proactively monitor material availability, identify potential supply bottlenecks early, and execute aggressive expediting strategies (追料) to resolve critical component shortages and ensure production continuity.\nSourcing Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute tailored sourcing strategies for electronic parts, qualify alternative components or secondary suppliers to minimize risks, and optimize processes for cost savings and efficiency.\nAssembly Factory Management: Coordinate closely with assembly factories, align production schedules with component delivery timelines, negotiate contracts, and monitor overall supplier performance.\nRisk & Lifecycle Management: Assess and mitigate long-term sourcing risks, manage component end-of-life (EOL) issues, and develop robust contingency plans to safeguard supply continuity.\nCross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate tightly with R&D, Quality, and Program Management teams to align sourcing strategies with engineering roadmaps and product development objectives.\nWhat you'll bring\n3-5 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, and supplier management, with a strong track record specifically focused on electronic components, electronic engineering parts and assembly factory ecosystems\nCrisis & Shortage Management, proven capability in material expediting, dealing with market allocations, and leveraging broker networks or alternative sourcing channels to resolve severe supply constraints.\nStrong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills\nProficiency in ERP systems and supply chain management tools\nPreferably within fast-paced companies focused on R&D / Production\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills\nFluency in English and Mandarin\nYou currently live in Taiwan\nExtremely nice to have:\nAbility to thrive in ambiguous environments\nAdvanced negotiation skills with a track record of achieving win-win outcomes while maintaining strong supplier relationships\nExperience in electro-mechanical products\nWhat you'll get:\n15 days annual paid holidays for you to unwind (pro-rata in the first year)\nYour birthday off\nAdditional paid leaves for sick leaves and moving house\nAnnual health check-up\nGroup insurance\nMonthly free office drinks\nBiweekly lunch/snack\nThe tools/equipment you'll need to do the best job possible\nUnlimited free consultations for mental well-being with Open Up\nAbout us\nWe’re obsessed with cities.
