integration testing\nMonitoring, logging, alerting and performance tuning\n\nEssential experience\nWe are looking for someone who can bring:\nStrong hands-on software engineering experience within complex, enterprise-scale environments.\nPractical experience designing, developing and supporting Salesforce and MuleSoft solutions, APIs or enterprise integrations.\nSalesforce engineering experience using technologies such as Apex, Lightning Web Components, Salesforce Flow, SOQL or SOSL.\nMuleSoft development experience, including Mule 4, DataWeave, connectors, reusable flows and API-led integration.\nExperience designing solutions for security, scalability, performance, resilience, recoverability and maintainability.\nA good understanding of API and integration patterns, including REST, SOAP or event-driven approaches.\nExperience with automated testing, CI/CD, Git-based version control and controlled release practices.\nThe ability to diagnose complex defects, integration failures, performance issues and production incidents.\nExperience reviewing technical designs and engineering work and providing clear, constructive guidance.\nStrong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical choices, risks and trade-offs to different audiences.\nExperience mentoring engineers or providing technical leadership within delivery teams\n\nUseful, but not essential\nIt would be helpful if you also have:\nExperience working in financial services or another regulated industry.\nKnowledge of UK GDPR, secure handling of personal or financial data and controlled change practices.\nFamiliarity with ITIL or IT service management approaches to change, incident and problem management.\nExperience with Financial Services Cloud, Salesforce Shield, Event Monitoring, Data Cloud, Agentforce or Einstein.\nExperience with Anypoint Exchange, API Manager or CloudHub.\nRelevant Salesforce certification, such as Platform Developer I or II, Application Architect or System Architect.\nA MuleSoft developer or integration architect certification.\nA background in fintech, consumer lending, cards or retail banking technology.\n\nCareer development:\nAs
