The primary responsibility of this position is to operate machinery and equipment to package food products safely, efficiently, and in compliance with food safety regulations.\nEssential Job Duties & Responsibilities:\nOperate packaging machinery such as filling machines, sealing machines, labelers, and conveyor systems to package food products according to production schedules.\nMonitor the packaging process to ensure products meet quality standards, including weight, size, and packaging integrity. Report any discrepancies or defects immediately.\nAdhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment. This includes wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and participating in safety training programs.\nRegularly inspect packaged products for quality, proper labeling, and packaging conformity. Remove any substandard items from the production line.\nEnsure a continuous supply of packaging materials, such as containers, labels, and film, to keep the production line running smoothly. Report any material shortages to the supervisor.\nMaintain cleanliness and sanitation of packaging equipment and work area according to established food safety standards. Perform routine cleaning tasks and assist in equipment changeovers.\nCollaborate with fellow operators, machine technicians, and quality control personnel to resolve issues, improve efficiency, and achieve production goals.\nIdentify and troubleshoot minor equipment malfunctions and assist maintenance personnel when necessary. Report major equipment issues to the supervisor.\nEnsure compliance with all food safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards. Frequent lifting, bending and twisting.
