The Legal team also works closely with external law firms to develop a comprehensive legal strategy and manages these partners to address issues efficiently and effectively. Unlike many other companies where legal roles are purely advisory, Vantage distinguishes itself by granting our legal staff the authority to directly influence business decisions. This empowers our internal team to align legal strategies with long-term operational goals, risk management, and cost efficiency to deliver outcomes that support corporate objectives. This approach allows each team member to make significant, impactful decisions, driving substantial results for the company.\n\nPosition Overview\nThis role will be Hybrid (onsite for 3 days & 2 days remotely) based in Denver, Colorado.\nThe Contract Analyst provides excellent attention to detail, proactive, business and solution-oriented mindset to all matters. The Contract Analyst works closely with the Legal, Construction, Finance, and all business departments to review and analyze construction contracts, vendor contracts, and work authorizations prior to finalization. The Contract Analyst is a collaborative team player who embodies our core values, contributes to a positive workplace culture, communicates with professionalism, provides excellent support of the business, and excels in managing a high-volume, fast-paced workload with shifting priorities.\nEssential Job Functions\nReview and analyze non-disclosure agreements and proposed redlines to evaluate if they are consistent with the Company’s acceptable level of risk, based on playbook guidance .\nReview and analyze work authorizations (statements of work and service orders) and exhibits, ensuring that they are accurate, error free, consistent with executed contracts and company policy, and mitigate risks for the Company. This includes reviewing and editing scopes of work with a keen attention to detail.\nReview and analyze Change Orders and exhibits for accuracy of references and numbers, alignment with contract terms, and identifying risk terms that should not be included in the exhibits.\nWork closely with Construction (or other business teams), Finance, and other subject matter experts to facilitate timely execution of work authorizations. \nConfirm correct Master Agreements have been selected for the business relationship.\nFacilitate contracts finalization process, including document clean up and Docusign envelopes. \nEnsure contract execution is done in accordance with the Delegation of Authority.\nAdminister and track workflow of contracts to make sure all are fully approved and executed.\nIdentify areas of process improvement and assist with process documentation.\nHandle additional duties as assigned by Management and miscellaneous special projects to support team members and/or requested by team attorneys\nTeamwork Collaboration:\nDemonstrate an outward mindset to work effectively with stakeholders across functions to achieve shared goals.\nActively contribute to a supportive, solutions-oriented team environment.\nBuild strong working relationships and communicate in a respectful, professional manner.\nSupport of the Business & the Team:\nServe as a liaison between the business and legal and other subject matter experts required to approve contracts.\nProactively identify opportunities to support team members and broader business objectives, including providing support and training for contract requestors. \nDemonstrate a collaborative mindset with colleagues in all departments of the business to support business priorities.\nApproach challenges with a service-oriented mindset and a commitment to advancing team priorities.\nMaintain professionalism under pressure.\nAdditional Duties:\nHandle additional duties as assigned by Management. \nJob Requirements\nBachelor’s degree in Business, Legal Studies, Contract Management, or a related field preferred. \nParalegal certification preferred. \n2-5 years experience in a contract administration or contract analyst role. \nExperience using enterprise resource planning or contract management software, such as Ironclad. \nExperience in the construction industry, preferred. \nStrong written and verbal skills.\nAbility to read, analyze, and interpret legal and technical documents, including redlines and playbooks. \nExcellent organization, time management and problem-solving skills that enable the candidate to balance multiple responsibilities at once and consistently meet tight deadlines and conflicting urgent priorities \nExpertise in working with Ironclad, Microsoft applications, DocuSign, SharePoint. \nTravel is expected to be up to 5% but may increase over time as the business evolves. \nPhysical Demands and Special Requirements\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
